Amber

Amber is a young Navajo woman who is developmentally disabled. She’s an artist and loves to create. She is one of the kindest and most caring people you could ever meet. Just weeks before Amber’s scheduled premiere, her father (pictured) passed on unexpectedly. He was so looking forward to her piece and his little girl being center stage. We are all saddened by his loss. We shifted the dates of the performance to allow Amber and her mother some space. We are looking forward to providing them Hope, Strength, Love and Joy through the power of music and specifically from “Fantasy” written just for her.

Chase the Music in collaboration with San Juan College CLEAR program is presenting an original piece for Amber. Composer Ron Royer and Flutist Heidi Kay Begay have created a beautiful piece “Fantasy”. for Amber.  The world premiere of his piece is scheduled for June, 18 2022 in Farmington , NM.

Chase the Music is a non-profit whose mission is to give children battling critical conditions: Hope, Strength, Love, and Joy through the power of music.

Original music – composed and performed just for them.
