At the young age of 12, Nevaeh had to undergo a kidney transplant. It’s not once and done – fix. She’ll be back in the next 5 years for another transplant. It was so important to Chick Pea and Cousin Tank of the Potlickers – Mountain Division that they wrote her a very special song. A piece for Nevaeh. An 12 year old that had just undergone a kidney transplant. That kidney came from her mom.

Three Reels for Meara
Little Meara battles severe epilepsy. She is at risk for SUDEP (sudden unexpected death in epilepsy) since she has seizures while sleeping.
The local newspaper, the Boulder Daily Camera, had this to say about the premiere for Meara.
Determined
When Fort Collins singer/songwriter Molly Taylor told Jamin that she’d be writing a Chase the Music song for him, he replied – “Don’t write a song for me, write for someone who’s really sick”. Molly took that as inspiration and wrote “Determined” a song not just for Jamin but also from him as a gift to those others…
Elena’s Song
This original piece was performed at Colorado State University as part of the Chase the Music into Spring 2017 performance of original compositions for children battling critical conditions. It was written and performed for Elena, a very special young friend!
