Our Core Beliefs

At our core, Chase the Music helps children battling critical illness, by having original music composed and performed for them. But,  it turns out that there are a number of unintended consequences. In addition to providing a gift for the child, Chase the Music:
  • Aids the family
  • Encourages  friends to spend quality time
  • Provides composers and performers with incredible inspiration
  • Audiences derive pleasure
  • Future listeners and performers will be touched by the music and stories.
What drives and guides are strong core beliefs. You can find more in our Mission/Vision/Mantra. To Chase the Music, we feel we must: Treat everyone with respect Honor those that help Be unique and genuine in our offerings Be creative Be open Think galactic, act global, love local!

Summertime Shine

An original composition by Jack Davis, written for the kids of Colorado Wheelchair Camp 2016. About 100 campers, and another 100 staff, friends and family were in attendance for this world premiere. Jack speaks of being outdoors in the great state of Colorado, and enjoying nature. Lyrics: Summertime Shine gots the heat to beat? Somethin to do, some friends to meet.Long days under the shade It’s a colorado summer So lets just feel the sunlight Lets just feel the breeze So do you what you want It’s time to rediscover the Colorado ways

Chase the Music web re-launch

We’re re-launching, to help you better experience Chase the Music, and to help us keep it current. The old structure was prohibitively difficult to add new content to. As we were constantly producing new pieces for really special kids, this was horrible! We couldn’t put new things on, without getting ourselves further stuck.
