Malva Freymuth Tarasewicz

Malva Freymuth-Tarasewicz, DMA is a professional musician, teacher, writer and horsewoman. She has been Benjamin’s primary therapist and coach. Malva’s composition, Hope – A Meditation on Autism, was inspired by experiences parenting Benjamin and shepherding him from a severely autistic, non-verbal, and socially isolated toddler to the “Being with Wings” that Benjamin is today.

Malva Freymuth Tarasewicz, D.M.A. is a writer and a professional violinist. Born and raised in Boulder, Colorado, Malva won numerous music competitions in her teens and was soloist with regional orchestras such as the Boulder Philharmonic, University of Colorado Symphony, Central City Opera Orchestra, Jefferson Symphony, Greeley Chamber Orchestra, and Broomfield Civic Symphony.
At the age of 25, Malva earned her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from C.U., focusing on violin performance and pedagogy, with additional studies in kinesiology and sports psychology, dance, and theater.
In 2016 Malva composed a choir piece, “Hope” for Chase the Music. Hope tells a story of hope, for her life, and that of her son Benjamin, who suffers from Autism.
